Beeing Victim

Becoming Victim is not a Choice it is a Crime.

Becoming Victim is suffering damage - a loss of what is needed for the human to exist.

The Damage is not over after the Crime is over.

The Damage may go away after time, but in most cases, it needs an active process to reduce the Pain in Body and Soul.

If crime results in missing Persons or Things, who/which are needed for that active process to reduce pain, then it is nessecary to allow or help the Victim Person to get a minimum of equivalent Resources back, for starting and persuing that active process to reduce pain.

If Damage causes the Victim Person to be unable to help herself to get back a minimum of life resources plus a minimum of resources to start and persue an active process to reduce the Pain, this Persons is in the need of help in specific situation.

In every human community with a minimum of ethics this a responsibilty of the community to help a victim in that specific situation.

The Crime was not a Choice, becoming Victim was no Choice.

Staying Victim is a matter of two factors:
- the Choice not to stay Victim: to return to normal life - as far as possible
- the ethics of the surrounding community:  to help and to allow the return into the community.

Refusing Help or disabling the Victim Person from helping herself is a second crime.

There is no Victim Role, because it is real Life and neither Fiction nor Narrative.

There is a Victim Situation. And its real.

If the Victim has no chance getting out of the Victim Situation:
- the Damage is getting bigger
- the Damage is going over to other humans
- in the worst Case and this the default case the Victim is becoming Offender and is making other Humans to Victims

If a House it hitted by a bomb or by accicent. You will build it up.

If a Human is hitted by a Crime or even a collosal Accident, the self healing processes fail.

You need to build that person up, as you would do with the house.

Helping a victim is important to reduce damage for the whole community and to avoid new victims.
